Legislator
s in Illinois are preparing to consider a new law to lower the maximum legal blood alcohol concentrat ion (BAC) for driving from .08 down to .06. Almost one-half of all fatally injured drinking drivers have a BAC of .20 or over. That’s three and one-third times higher than the proposed maximum BAC. Supporters insist that the cut would be only a small step in the right direction. Activists have already begun pushing for reductions down to .04 and .02.

 FINALLY, ALL THE DEMO WORK IS DONE. MONDAY WE START BUILDING AND ADDING. THE WOMENS ROOM GETS ANOTHER STALL....YIPPE! THE KITCHEN IS GETTING A HUGE ADDITION, WHEN WE REOPEN THERE WILL BE A NEW DINING ROOM WITH ITS OWN ENTRANCE. SOME OF THE THINGS WE WILL BE CHANGING WILL OFFER MORE OF A PUB ATMOSPHERE, THE BIG TV WILL GO IN THE DINING ROOM AND WE WILL BE ADDING MORE PLASMA FLAT SCREENS ON THE PUB SIDE, THINKING ABOUT ADDING VIDEO GAMES, BAGS, GOLF, BOWLING, BUCK HUNTER ETC. .... MIGHT EVEN ADD A SHUFFLE BOARD! ANY WAY WE HOPE TO BE OPEN IN FULL BY THANKSGIVING BUT FOR SURE WILL BE OPEN THE NIGHT BEFORE AS DEWEY OXBURGER WILL BRING IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON FOR US. HERE ARE A FEW DEMO PHOTOS. ONE OF MY LONG TIME FAVORITE IMPROVEMENTS WILL BE THE BACKBAR COOLER ADDITION ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL, WE WILL NOW BE ABLE TO HOLD MORE THAN 1600 BOTTLES STOCKEDAND READY TO SERVE, THE BARTENDER WILL NO LONGER NEED TO KEEP RESTOCKING, THE ADDED COOLER WILL GIVE US THE COLDEST BEER IN TOWN BETWEEN 22 AND 28 DEGREES. YES THE COORS LIGHT MOUNTAINS WILL BE BLUE!!!!!!
